I have always been fascinated by abandoned buildings and discarded objects. Curious about their story, I wondered what happened within the walls or why certain items were left behind, and how they changed over time. I collect objects, finding them on the ground, in thrift shops or at garage and estate sales. Some objects are used in their original form, while others are deconstructed or may have been acquired as bits and pieces from unknown origins. Starting with a focal piece, as I connect these items, they shed their past lives and come together, giving them a second life and a new story.
